Hi I’m Kohl, Executive Creative Director at Leo Burnett Toronto, and that’s my daughter taking a nice picture with me.
In a desperate attempt to not do construction anymore, I got into advertising 10 years ago. Some cool moments since include hearing J.K. Simmons read a poem I wrote, seeing my work trend #1 and #2 on BuzzFeed at the same time, getting coverage from The Independent, Fast Company and Vanity Fair to name a few, and winning some awards I’ve shamelessly listed below. Mostly, I’m just trying to make stuff people talk about. And currently, I lead the creative on Pizza Hut, Kellogg’s, Buick/GMC, Enbridge and the Smucker’s portfolio which includes brands like Milk-Bone, Robin Hood flour, Uncrustables, the list goes on.
In my spare time I like gossiping with my wife, trying to make my friends laugh, and don’t like writing about myself.
